The Pyrenees with Michael Portillo

The former MP’s (below) latest adventure has already been deeply personal, but the emotion is ramped up again on his final leg. Portillo returns to the Catalonian Pyrenees, an area his father fled through as a political refugee from the Spanish Civil War in 1939. Then, in the Empordà region, he meets vineyard owner Jordi, who left city life to return to his roots.
