Am I Being Unreasonable?

They’re two of the brightest up-andcoming names in television comedy drama, and now Daisy May Cooper (This Country), far right, and Seline Hizli (Mum), right, have joined forces as the stars and co-writers of this six-part series.

Nic (Cooper) is burdened with both a dark secret and a sad sack of a husband with whom she’s made a home in a remote village. In fact, with few friends, the only meaning in her life is caring for her young son Ollie. But then, at a school fete, she meets another mother, Jen (Hizli), whose vivacious character and sense of mischief give Nic hope that she’s met a soulmate.

The problem is, Nic soon discovers that Jen might not be quite what she seems. Addressing some frank truths about human nature in the spirit of Fleabag, this dark comedy thriller has a distinctive flavour all of its own. ★★★★★
