EVERTON extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to seven matches after coming from behind to beat Southampton 2-1 at St Mary’s.
Former Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo gave the Saints the lead in the 49th minute but Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side were left shell-shocked after conceding twice in quick succession.
Conor Coady levelled in the 52nd minute and two minutes later Dwight McNeil struck for Frank Lampard’s side to claim all three points.
Elsewhere, goals either side of the interval from Gianluca Scamacca and Jarrod Bowen gave West Ham a 2-0 home success over Wolves. David Moyes’ side now sit 15th in the table while Wolves slipped into the bottom three. Bournemouth drew 0-0 at home to Brentford.
