Frozen Planet II

BBC1, 8pm The penultimate episode takes viewers to the far north, a place of snow-covered forests and open tundra. Much of the land here has remained frozen since the last Ice Age, forcing its inhabitants to find ways to adapt to its often bleak landscape. Among those thriving are Arctic foxes, who have an unusual method of finding the lemmings they love to eat, while snowy owls enjoy hunting in 24 hours of daylight. ★★★★★
