Fallout: Living In The Shadow Of The Bomb Radio 4, 11am

Steve Purse (right) presents a new series exploring Britain’s atomic testing programme and its legacy.

It starts with the events leading up to the 1952 detonation, codenamed Operation Hurricane.

The Verb (Radio 3, 10pm) features a conversation with poet and activist Benjamin Zephaniah, recorded at the Contains Strong Language Festival in his home city of Birmingham.

Andrea Catherwood is the new presenter of Feedback (Radio 4, 4.30pm), the series that seeks to hold BBC management, programmemakers and presenters to account, as well as revealing how shows are made.
