Comedy drama revolving around two very different but once-close half-brothers, Raymond (Ewan McGregor, far right) and Ray (Ethan Hawke, right), who haven’t seen each other in years. They reunite when their awful estranged father, with whom they had a terrible relationship, dies. Their journey to the funeral gives them the opportunity to reconnect, and then they discover that his final wish was for them to dig his grave and that, in the town where he was living when he died, everyone thought he was a really great guy. Together, Raymond and Ray come to terms with the events of the previous years. There are a few surprises, some humour, and McGregor and Hawke are always watchable. This is diverting enough despite feeling a bit contrived in places. From Friday
