Today's Drama On 3 (Radio 3, 7.30pm), subtitled People Everywhere Will Sing, is set in 1951, and tells how a widowed Ralph Vaughan Williams (Oliver Ford Davies) decided to revamp his image by composing something radical for the Queen's coronation.

Sadly nothing to do with Olivia Newton-John, Xanadu (Radio 4, 4.30pm) instead offers insights into Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem Kubla Khan from poet Daljit Nagra.
