SNP has botched recycling
With her eyes only fixed on a referendum, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s neglect of the everyday running of the country sees us celebrate another unwanted first place as Scotland is now at the bottom of the household waste recycling league.
I wonder how the Deposit Return Scheme – the brainchild of Lorna Slater, the Minister for Circular Economy and Biodiversity – will fare when it is imposed next August? It is already showing the hallmarks of another SNP botch-up.
