CALEY KEEP UP TITLE PACE
INVERNESS kept pace at the top of the table with a 1-0 Highland derby success over Cove Rangers.
Steven Boyd scored the only goal of the game to give Caley Thistle all three points against Jim McIntyre’s side, who had Leighton McIntosh sent off in stoppage time for lashing out at Zak Delaney.
In the second tier’s other match of the day, Morton moved level on points with third-placed Ayr United with a 1-0 win over Raith Rovers, who sit seventh.
Dougie Imrie’s side had to wait until the third minute of stoppage time to seal all three points however, as Grant Gillespie turned home from the penalty spot.
