Loser takes all

I do not normally watch talent shows, but as my wife is a fan, I have watched the latest series of The Voice and been converted. The whole series was wonderful.

We thought the winner was marvellous but on top of all that, the 20-year-old man who came second was delightful. Coming second is obviously disappointing, but the magnanimous way he congratulated the winner and praised her singing, was a fabulous example of the often slated younger generation.
