Summerville is Leeds’ saviour
CRYSENCIO SUMMERVILLE was the hero for Leeds once again after he netted the winner in a seven-goal thriller against Bournemouth yesterday.
The 21-year-old Dutchman scored a late clincher against Liverpool at
Anfield last week and repeated the trick in a 4-3 success over Bournemouth.
Summerville slotted past Mark
Travers with six minutes remaining to give Leeds another thrilling win.
Rodrigo opened the scoring at Elland Road with a third-minute penalty but Marcus Tavernier, Philip Billing and Dominic Solanke all scored to turn the tide for Bournemouth.
Leeds staged their comeback on the hour mark when Sam Greenwood scored. Scotland international Liam Cooper made it 3-3 before Summerville had the final say.
Elsewhere, Mathias Jorgensen scored an own goal in stoppage-time to give Nottingham Forest a point in a 2-2 draw with Brentford at the City Ground.
Steve Cooper’s side are now bottom of the table but took the lead in the 20th minute through Morgan Gibbs-White.
Bryan Mbuemo levelled for the Bees just before half-time from the penalty spot and Thomas Frank’s were ahead on 75 minutes through Yoane Wissa but Jorgensen’s own goal gave Forest a point.
