Kym’s man asks Graziano round to avoid Curse!
STRICTLY star Kym Marsh’s soldier husband has found a novel way to ensure they aren’t struck by the show’s infamous curse – he invites her Italian heart-throb dance partner Graziano Di Prima for dinner!
Sandhurst-trained Scott Ratcliff, 33, a major in the Parachute Regiment, regularly hosts the Sicilian at their Cheshire home and has made him part of the family.
At 28, Di Prima is just a year older than Ms Marsh’s son David. But his onscreen chemistry with the 46-yearold has prompted much attention from viewers – although she insists he is like a younger brother to her.
A source said: ‘Scott has decided to make Graziano part of the family. He’s a regular at the house, where he makes a good old-fashioned Italian dish. While there is no suggestion that the Strictly curse would strike, making friends is a way of making sure they are all one big, happy gang.’
Ms Marsh insists her husband doesn’t worry about the curse anyway, adding: ‘Everyone talks about it, but Scott really couldn’t care less!’ Last night, she dedicated her foxtrot – danced to Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars – to her son Archie, who died at birth 13 years ago.
She received 31 points, putting her joint second bottom along with DJ Tyler West, who danced a paso doble to Unstoppable by E.S. Posthumus with his professional partner Dianne Buswell.
