HER dreams of becoming a top model were cruelly dashed as a teenager after being judged not skinny enough.

But Emily Shakarji, 33, has overcome this rejection to become Scotland’s most successful fashion blogger – earning more than £3,500 every time she posts to her 1.5 million followers on Instagram, under the name Emily Shak.

Crowned Scotland’s Influencer of the Year last month, Emily said: ‘It allows me to dive into my creative side.’

Goes to prove that she who laughs last, laughs the longest.
