THE Freuds have made their mark in fashion, art and PR, and now another member of the family is making waves – on the literary scene.

Emily, right, the great-greatgranddaughter of Sigmund, has become a thriller writer. Her new book, What She Left Behind, is about what befalls a seemingly loved-up couple who leave London for a rural home. It was inspired by property site The Modern House. ‘I’m addicted to that site,’ Emily, 29, says. ‘During Covid, I kept looking at what palatial home I could get in the country if we sold our flat in London!’
