THE glamorous doctor daughter of Queen drummer Roger Taylor has just completed a five-day, 60-mile trek across the Sahara in aid of breast cancer charity Coppafeel… and the hardest part wasn’t quite what you might expect. GP Rory, 36, left, told me: ‘The most challenging part was trying to find the time to wear in my hiking boots in between work and life as a busy new mum, so I resorted to wearing them around the house and on nursery drop-offs.’ Safely back at home after contending with sandstorms, Rory says she was delighted to return to ‘a comfy bed and a bathroom’! Meanwhile, her dad gave a generous £1,000 donation to the charity.
