Tour Sandringham with historian Lucy Worsley

-

ITS glorious coastline, delightful Broads and gentle pace of life have drawn visitors to Norfolk for centuries – and that includes the Royal Family. Sandringham in the west of the county has been the private home of British monarchs since 1862. And throughout her life, the late Queen Elizabeth II loved it as a retreat.

On our five-day trip, you will visit this charming Royal estate in the company of historian Dr Lucy Worsley. She will give an exclusive talk and answer your questions about Britain’s great houses and the Royal Family.

The late Queen’s grandfather, George V, described ‘dear old Sandringham’ as ‘the place I love better than anywhere else in the world’, while her father, George VI, wrote to his mother, Queen Mary: ‘I have always been so happy here and I love the place.’

On our fabulous short break, you will also have ample time to enjoy three heritage railway trips and a memorable cruise by paddle steamer on the Broads. You’ll explore lovely destinations along the way, including Wroxham, Horning and Cromer.

This trip, which includes four nights at the Holiday Inn Norwich North, has proved extremely popular every time it has been run – so book now to secure your place.
