Party girl Rita hires Margot’s mystic... to get a better aura!

-

IT can be a difficult path navigating stardom, but singer Rita Ora has seen the light.

After breaking Covid rules for a birthday party and a recent wrangle over signed albums, the star now seems to have committed to becoming her best possible self.

And she plans to do it with a little help from a ‘lightworker’ – also known as a ‘beacon for Earth’ – someone who has undergone a spiritual awakening and brings light into the world by helping others.

Rita’s ‘beacon’ is Australian healer Katrina Flokis, whose other clients include Vogue Australia’s editor-inchief Christine Centenera and actress Margot Robbie, who had a session with Katrina while on tour promoting the new Barbie movie.

But lighting up your life doesn’t come cheap. Katrina charges upwards of £125 per meeting.

In an interview with Vogue Scandinavia, she revealed: ‘I truly believe my gift is to help many on the planet, across the world.’

Her credentials certainly appear to be remarkable. Katrina claims: ‘I’ve done successful coma recoveries, I’ve healed cancer patients.’

Explaining her role, she added: ‘Lightworkers are awakened spiritual beings in physical form that are here to assist the collective. My aim is to help all who connect with me to step into their own light and power.’

It’s no surprise that Rita, 32, is keen to get her body and mind in the best shape after revealing while starring in Bear Grylls’ survival programme Running Wild that she was hoping to have children in the near future with her husband, New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi, 48.

Rita, who is stepmother to Taika’s two daughters from his first marriage to producer Chelsea Winstanley, says: ‘Family is so important to me. I’d love to have children when the time is right. Fingers crossed.’

In a recent interview, Rita fought back against her party-girl image, saying: ‘I was always the one who made sure people were having a good time. I never thought it was something to be ashamed of.’

Even though that might be no excuse for hosting her birthday bash at a restaurant during lockdown – for which she was fined £10,000 – it looks as if this particular star may have found a new aura…
