Nadine has laid bare the state of Rishi’s Tories

-

The road to poverty and starvation under the current Government has done and continues to destroy the lives of millions of decent people in this country. Nadine Dorries’ resignation letter to Rishi Sunak has hit the nail on the head. Betrayal of all Conservative values is laid bare. A manifesto long burnt in the incinerator of deceit and greed. An unelected PM chosen by chummies and not the people he purports to serve. Thank you, Nadine, for your heartfelt comments.

Paul Mackintosh, Darlington

Nadine is right about Rishi – what has he actually done for this country? He enjoys his status and talks about objectives without actually doing anything. J. Robertson, Preston

It’s such a shame that Nadine has resigned. I was always impressed with her integrity and honesty as an MP – she was always polite and approachable. I was hoping she would rescind her threats to resign but it seems even titans can’t resist the Blob. It’s a travesty. This Government is a shambles.

Nadine Dorries has written a very concise and accurate summary of the current Prime Minister. The Conservative Party sold its soul when it allowed Rishi Sunak to manipulate his way into No 10. I have voted Conservative all my life but am glad I am no longer in the UK so will not be placed in the unenviable position of trying to decide who should get my vote at the next election.

Nadine has been drawing an unjustified salary as an MP.

She was very fortunate to have been a Government Minister and her performance as a politician can best be described as inadequate.

C. Crawford, London

I have lived in South Bedfordshire for many years and am fortunate that we have a very approachable Member of Parliament. This is certainly not the case with the MP for Mid Bedfordshire, Nadine Dorries. She has neglected her MP duties to her constituents for many months, despite getting paid handsomely for this role. She now has the audacity to blame Rishi

Sunak for ‘whipping up a public frenzy’ against her. Her resignation is long overdue.

Roy Simmons, Eaton Bray, Bedfordshire

Nadine Dorries mentioned in her resignation letter to Rishi Sunak that her research for a book she has written on the ‘political assassination’ of Boris Johnson led her to conclude she could no longer remain as an MP. Why didn’t she say something about this when she was an MP? You don’t have to be Einstein to fathom that one out.

Maurice Bardon, Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire

Following Nadine Dorries’ vitriolic diatribe against the Prime Minister, might I politely suggest she will be remembered long after

Rishi Sunak is forgotten, but not until then.
