A 35-YEAR-OLD man remains in hospital after being stabbed on Thursday night.

The victim was found with a knife wound on Sandon Road shortly before 6pm.

Police said they are continuing high visibility patrols in the area, and that a 22-year-old man arrested had been released without charge.

A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said the victim remained in a stable condition at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
