‘Residents tempted to go fly-tipping’

- MALCOLM WRIGHT BIGNALL END

WE have just had our garden waste bin emptied. Attached to the lid was a tag informing us that from next year we have to pay £36 to continue having this service.

Earlier this morning on the radio there was a report on the increase of incidents of ‘fly tipping’.

I can’t help feeling that those who will not be prepared to pay for their garden bin to be emptied might be tempted to drive down the nearest country lane.

I hope that I am proved wrong.
