‘WE HOPE IT WILL BENEFIT TRADERS’

-

PARKING charges are set to be frozen across a council’s car parks in a move to help businesses.

Stafford Borough Council is proposing there will be no increase next year for the facilities in Stafford and Stone.

Cabinet members have backed the plan with full council set to consider it.

Councillor Frances Beatty said: “We have seen an influx of new businesses coming to Stafford and Stone - and there is more to come which will continue to boost the local economy.

“This is why we have once again proposed a freeze on parking charges which we hope will benefit our businesses and their customers.”
