‘MPS shouldn’t take voters for granted’
MPS preventing Brexit is an attack on democracy and an affront to the people of this country.
The MPS for Stoke North, Stoke Central and Newcastle appear to be revelling in the opportunity of preventing Brexit from taking place, despite their constituents voting overwhelmingly to leave the EU.
They should be very mindful that this will weigh heavily in the minds of these voters in the event of a general election.
People will feel betrayed and rightly consider that the MPS have ignored their wishes and gone their own sweet way yet again.
This was born out in the unbelievable reduction in the Labour majority in Newcastle last time, and they should not take people for granted.
The additional fear of casting a vote that could put Corbyn in Downing Street could make their positions even more uncertain. BERT PROCTOR AUDLEY
