PIPE UP IF YOU CAN HELP TOWN’S PARTY!

ORGANISERS behind a town’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display are on the hunt for a bagpipes player.

Members of the Stoke Events Board are preparing for the spectacular on December 31 which will represent the 10th New Year party they’ve put together.

But the volunteers need someone to play the bagpipes to add some extra magic. Group secretary Kay Lewis, said: “We’d like them to play Auld Lang Syne.”

The event will take place on the square off South Wolfe Street where there will be a disco and refreshments. Bagpipes players should call Kay on 07871 518316.
