“Since we have moved into bigger premises we have become a much more sophisticated operation and we have probably had one of the best financial years since we established the business.”

And the Digital Balance team – which has more than 80 years of industry experience between them – looks set to grow even more in the new year, with the recruitment of three new members of staff for positions including front and back-end web developers. The company has also entered

Business Awards in the Small Business of the Year category, sponsored by Beswicks Legal and the High Performing Team of the Year category, sponsored by Plinkfizz.

Over the next 12 months, Digital Balance will focus on R&D to explore new technologies and new markets such as VR and Augmented Reality.

The firm is also looking to develop a number of ‘off-the-shelf ’ products which will allow it to work with smaller businesses.

Chris said: “We are a responsive and reputable company. When people hear the name Digital Balance, they think cost-effective and efficient, which is great.

“But we have to stay a step ahead which means being aware of upcoming trends and looking at new ways to develop our systems.”
