FAMILIES are being urged to get involved with a community group – and have an input into improving their area.

Organisers behind Mount Pleasant Residents’ Association will stage a meeting tonight from 7.30pm.

The guest speaker will be Chris Almond of D&G Buses, who will speak about the 23A service.

Jim Meechan, secretary, of the association, said: “We want people to come along and have an input.”

The meeting will take place at The Regent pub.
