Phil and Nicola are offering customers 20 per cent off their food bill until the end of this month as part of The Sentinel’s Shop Local scheme, with the voucher printed in today’s newspaper.

Phil said: “We are excited for the future – I love a challenge. There are so many things we can do with the place.

“We want to make some changes to the function room and it will be available for events and family parties. Eventually we want to set it up properly for weddings.

“We will have entertainment and we will be holding family fun days in the summer.

“If the local community wants to give us feedback about what they want we will try to accommodate their needs.”
