NHS’ new O2 record
PRINCE’S record for the longest residency at the O2 Arena in London has been broken by the NHS.
The 20,000-capacity live music venue has been stood down as an NHS coronavirus training facility after 44 days. Prince, who died in 2016, performed at the venue on 21 consecutive nights in 2007, spending more than 50 hours on stage and playing more than 500 songs.
The arena, owned by AEG, was converted into an NHS training facility in April.
