QWHAT are the best plants or climbers to hide a 6 x 8ft shed?

AJames

THERE’S plenty of choice but I’d recommend trying an evergreen climber so you have all-year coverage.

Ivy is a much criticised plant but it is absolutely great for making a green cloak to disguise eyesores. Just keep it tightly clipped every year to keep it under control.

Pyracantha, when it’s trained against the walls, looks good – it’s an evergreen plant with lots of berries in red, orange or yellow in autumn.

Holboellia, the sausage vine, is a vigorous evergreen that will also help to rapidly cover the shed.
