‘What has Labour done for the city?’

-

WHEN are the Labour voters and Remainers going to give the Prime Minister a chance?

All we seem to see in the newspapers are letters asking when he or the new Tory MPS are going to start making things better for the local people.

What you people have got to ask yourselves is what have the Labour MPS we used to have done for Stokeon-trent?

Boris Johnson has been in power for a few months and the slight problem of a deadly pandemic is causing a few distractions.

What distraction did the old Labour lot have? They were in power for more than 50 years in Stoke-on-trent and what did they do? The answer is nothing.

I read the letter from Councillor Bill Cawley

(Sentinel, May 21) having a go at Mr Johnson.

Councillor Cawley was proud to put councillor before his name, but I notice he did not put Labour councillor Cawley.

Is he ashamed to say he supports Labour?

I am proud to say I support the Conservative Party and I believe in healthy debate between people of differing political beliefs.

Yes I will agree that a few things have gone wrong, but Labour had years to help Stoke-on-trent.

If they had done their job then all would be OK with the area.

So please before you start sniping about Boris Johnson, just give him a chance!
