‘Aide deserves a bit of sympathy’
I HAVE no particular interest in supporting Dominic Cummings, below, as a result of the recent incident when he drove to County Durham during the lockdown. But shouldn’t he deserve some sympathy for his predicament?
Nobody has made the observation that his personal circumstances are very different than an ordinary member of the public.
His home in London is under continuous surveillance by the Press. If he steps outside he will be mobbed.
If he took his family anywhere local he would not get any privacy. So how can he be compared fairly with the average family?
Trying to compare Mr Cummings with the average family man is not really fair.
