‘Fixing focus should not be on the M6’

I READ with interest that the JCB pothole repair machine has been put to work on the M6. I think it should be sent to Church Street, Stoke, as it seems there are more potholes on this 200 yards stretch of road than anywhere else in Stoke-ontrent.

Yesterday I personally saw an ambulance with blue lights flashing slow down and try to avoid the large number of holes in the road.

Come on city council – justify why this stretch of Church Street has been neglected for months. BERNARD LYONS FENTON
