GANGSTA GRANNY GEARING UP FOR MAY 17

BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge David Walliams has invited Simon Cowell to have a go on his new Alton Towers ride.

The TV star and children’s author will be opening the ride, based on his book Gangsta Granny, at the theme park on May 17, as the first part of the World of David Walliams attraction.

David has been working on the project for two years, and is looking forward to bringing more of his books to life.

He added: “I’m super chuffed. I never thought I’d be the person that would get to have this thing.

“I was rather chuffed that they picked me.”
