What is the worst roundabout in North Staffordshire?

A34/A 500 Talke roundabout. The road surface is terrible and I’ve had a few near misses as people get in the wrong lanes.

The top of Furlong Road, Tunstall. People tend to swerve their vehicle over into the straight ahead lane to turn right on to Furlong Road, despite them having a vehicle by their side.

So many accidents and near misses due to their lack of spatial awareness.

Smallthorne roundabouts wouldn’t be as bad if the pedestrian lights weren’t in the mix!

It would be a bit better if there was some more commonsense when driving or some understanding of how roundabouts work. In other words, you go round them not through them into every lane possible.

Smallthorne roundabouts. It isn’t designed correctly in accordance with the Highway Code that I used when I first started to drive. The majority of roundabouts in Stoke-ontrent are wrong. On Basford Bank roundabout you can pull off from the Trentham direction in the left-hand lane and go towards Hanley!

None. They all follow the same rules. However, they’d be far more efficient if drivers indicated their intentions!
