THE devastated parents of a 31-year-old bar manager killed in a three-vehicle crash have paid tribute to their ‘party-loving’ son.

Aaron Jarvis grew up in North Staffordshire before moving to Manchester and was most recently working at Tribeca in the city centre.

But he was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash last Thursday and lost his fight for life in hospital hours later.

Now Aaron’s family have led tributes to their loved-one.

They said: “Our son, Aaron, was sadly taken away from us in the early hours of Thursday, November 4.

“He leaves behind loving parents, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and hundreds of friends to whom we are greatly indebted to for looking after him in the Manchester area.

“Aaron was a fun-loving, freespirited, party-loving lad who just loved everyone and everyone loved him. The tributes that have been sent from his friends are heartfelt and appreciated by his whole family.

“He will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

“We miss him more than words can say and love him with all of our hearts. But this is only goodnight and not goodbye, love you son.”

A memorial was last night due to be held in Manchester following Aaron’s death.

In a Facebook post, Tribeca Manchester said: “It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our manager, Aaron. His death comes as a huge shock to the whole team and the village and he will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Aaron.”

Aaron was a back-seat passenger in a BMW 320D when it crossed the central reservation on Bury New Road and crashed into a black Renault Megane. The BMW then crashed in a black Ford Transit van.

Two other passengers in the BMW were taken to hospital. One man, aged 48, remains in a critical condition. The other, aged 30, was treated for minor injuries.

But two other men – the driver and the front-seat passenger of the BMW – fled the scene.

Greater Manchester Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the fatal hit-and-run. A 28-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of perverting the cause of justice has been released under investigation.

Sergeant Andrew Page said: “This was a serious collision in which a man has very sadly lost his life. Our inquiries are currently ongoing to ensure we establish the full circumstances.”

A Go Fund Me appeal – Aaron’s memorial – has so far raised more than £1,300. To donate, go to https:// www.gofundme.com/f/qezrrsaarons-memorial.
