‘Aussie soap goes out on a high note’

WHAT a fitting end to 37 years of Australian soap Neighbours to have Charlene and Scott return as characters.

It is where Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue, pictured, found fame and global success.

I watched Neighbours when I got back from school and never missed an episode.

Sad to see it go but admittedly I’ve not watched it for several years.

The glory days were in the heady 1980s.
