CLEAN-UP: Grime buster Rob Harris who dedicates free time to sprucing up Stoke-on-trent’s landmarks is planning to make it an annual task. He was out with his pressure washer to clean the Walrus Seaplane, designed by Butt Laneborn Reginald Mitchell, on Reginald Mitchell Way at the weekend.the Porthill dad-of-four said: “We seem to forget our heritage and history of where we’re from. They really needed cleaning and it was a shame for them to go to wrack and ruin. The council guys haven’t got the time or manpower to do it. I can now keep on top of them every year. I am just fitting it in between my job and family life.”
