‘Threat will stop channel crossings’
ON reading the article by MP Jonathan Gullis on immigration (Sentinel May 3) I’d like to say how very much I agree with him.
Since the 1950s, immigrants from Asia and Africa have poured into our country, with virtually no integration. This can only end in disaster.
I am all in favour of helping these former colonials on a large scale, but in their own country, not in England.
Some people point to the great welcome that we have given to Ukrainian women and their children, which is totally different.
To be brief, these Ukrainians are European, and will easily integrate.
If the the threat of being shipped off to Rwanda stops these crazy channel crossings then good.
