POLICE HUNT FOR VANDALS WHO TARGETED CARS

POLICE were called after vandals targeted multiple cars on a residential street in Stoke-on-trent.

Officers were sent to Longton’s Goddard Street on Sunday after vehicles were deliberately damaged during the night.

Now Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses over the wrecking spree.

Officers are also going through CCTV as they look to track down the mindless yobs who damaged the cars.

A spokeswoman said: “Police were called on Sunday (May 1) to a report of vehicle crime on Goddard Street in Longton. A number of vehicles parked on the street had been damaged overnight. Officers are carrying out CCTV inquiries.”
