The taste test: Flora’s verdict
I tried the strawberry milk flavour. There is something pretty fun about picking a bottle, and choosing a syrup, then watching it fill up with ice-cold milk.
You can then shake it to mix the syrup. I chose strawberry to share with my boyfriend, but next time – and there will be a next time – I’ll go for chocolate. The milk is thick and creamy-tasting, while the flavour isn’t overly sweet like a lot of shop-bought shakes are.
It’s also fairly good value for money at £1.40, considering you can bring your bottle back. Plain milk is also still available, and six eggs can also be bought for £2.
