Emma Willis and Nick Grimshaw continue to overhaul people’s lives, with the help of interior designer Alex Dauley, craftsman Tim Hitchens and the family themselves, showing just how simple it is to radically change your home for the better through smart, accessible design.

This time they’re in Edinburgh to help artist Jade and musician Joe, pictured, get to grips with small-space living in their two-bedroom flat.

The plan is to solve ‘domestic stress spots’ with some clever design tricks.

Where once was a territorial battleground for space and a cluttered living room, there will now be a harmonious living space – as long as the couple themselves can get on board.
