We had 10 days of no migrant arrivals

SO, THE latest idea from the Government is to send any illegal immigrant to Rwanda. What a good idea that is.

Over the last 10 days there have been no migrants arriving by small boat from Europe. It’s obvious that this plan is working as we have had no immigrants for 10 days.

The newspapers say the reason for this is that we have the military taking charge of illegal crossings, but I haven’t seen any news about the military stopping any small boats arriving, so it must be the fear of being sent to Rwanda that is stopping the small boats.

On April 18 we had 88 migrants crossing the Channel in two small boats and on April 19 we had 263 migrants in seven small boats and since then we have had none.
