DRIVER IN HOSPITAL AFTER TWO-CAR SMASH
A DRIVER was taken to hospital with ‘potentially serious injuries’ after a two-car crash closed a road.
Police and paramedics attended the smash in Breach Road – between Brown Edge and Endon – at 6pm on Wednesday. It involved a grey VW T-roc and a black Range Rover.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The driver of the first car was assessed and had sustained potentially serious injuries. He was conveyed to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further assessment.
“A woman and a child from the second car were assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious.
Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision. Contact them on 101.
