HOUSING PLAN FOR OFFICE NEXT TO WORKS

OFFICES could be turned back into a home - if planners give the go-ahead.

Stoke-on-trent City Council has been asked to approve the conversion of the building next to the Sutherland Works in Normacot Road.

Plans submitted for approval state the property was originally built as a home at the end of a block of terrace houses. It was converted into an office after planning permission was granted in April 1987.

The council will make a decision in due course.
