SNEYD GREEN

-

POLICE say they have been called out to two buildings – including a fire-hit working men’s club – to reports of youngsters clambering on to the roofs.

Now neighbourhood officers are asking residents to continue to report the goings-on at Holden Lane Working Men’s Club and nearby Sneyd Green Community Centre.

It is the latest issue at the former working men’s club. The Sentinel reported how the Ralph Drive venue was targeted by arsonists last October.

Now youngsters have been spotted climbing onto the building – which is boarded up.

PCSO Justine Marsh has urged anyone who spots youths targeting the two buildings to ring the force.

She said: “We have received calls of concern of youths seen climbing on the buildings and roofs of Holden Lane Working Men’s Club and Sneyd Green Community Centre.

“If you see any children around these buildings please contact police via 101.”
