- Sentinel Reporter newsdesk@reachplc.com

THREE venues close to Vale Park have been identified as car parks for fans heading to the Robbie Williams homecoming concert.

Dimensions Leisure Centre, Haywood Academy, and the Burslem campus of Stokeon-trent College have been designated as official park-andwalk sites for the June 4 concert.

Motorists will be charged £25 for VIP and blue badge parking at Dimensions Leisure Centre, between Burslem and Tunstall.

It is £15 to park at Haywood Academy, in High Lane, and Stoke-on-trent College in Moorland Road.

The parking is available from midday, with the gates opening at 4pm. It comes as concert-goers will be banned from parking in the streets surrounding Vale Park as part of a major security operation.

A Port Vale spokesman said: “There is no parking at the venue.”

Meanwhile, a park-and-ride shuttle service will also run from the bet365 Stadium. The service is £15, with the car park open from midday.

The Port Vale spokesman added: “A park-and-ride will operate from the bet365 Stadium – with a shuttle bus service available from midday.”

Normal day-to-day parking charges at Dimensions Leisure Centre are £1.20 for up to three hours and £4 all day.

The Sentinel has approached the council for a statement regarding the parking charges.
