PLANS FOR ‘HIGH-END’ OVERHAUL

PLANS have been unveiled to turn part of a pub into seven homes.

London-based Essential Property Options is behind plans for the ground floor of The Crescent, in Battisson Crescent, Longton right.

It has also submitted a retrospective application for the 12 bedrooms on the first and second floors to become a ‘house in multiple occupation’

Plans state the pub will be ‘restructured as a single highend HMO serving professionals working in the local area and the wider Stoke-on-trent city’. They add: “Our ethos for our HMOS are for them to be comfortable, high spec and practical.” The city council will decide in due course.
