Sean is overdue a meaty storyline...

IT’S about time Sean Tully, played by Anthony Cotton, got a decent meaty storyline in Coronation Street.

I look forward to seeing the former Brookside heartthrob Simon O’brien appear on the cobbles as love interest Frank Bardsley.

It’s exciting to know he has a deep, dark past and is a former acquaintance of George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) at school. I remember watching Simon in Brookie years ago and got upset over Damon Grant’s death in the spin-off Damon and Debbie ... I was only young!

It’s good to see him back in soaps again.
