FIVE-BED HOUSE PLANNED FOR SITE

A Five-bedroom home could be built on an empty plot of land if city planners agree.

They have been asked to decide on plans for a triangular site in Star and Garter Road, Lightwood. The original house which stood there has since been demolished.

Plans submitted for approval state that the site complies with city council planning policies as it ‘has no relationship with the surrounding context’.

They add that perceived issues with overlooking can also be overcome as the proposal complies with supplementary guidance. A decision will be made in due course.
