20 FAMILIES FIGHT LATE NIGHT LICENCE PLAN
RESIDENTS living near an historic hall used for weddings are fighting plans to extend its licensing hours after complaining about late-night noise.
Twenty neighbours of Combermere Abbey say they are already disturbed by noise levels. The venue near Nantwich has applied to Cheshire East Council to extend the licence to 12.30am seven days a week.
The application will be considered by councillors at a meeting in Sandbach later today.
