‘The last couple of years have been a bit of a whirlwind’

-

AN ESTATE agency which was launched less than two years ago is expanding into new areas.

Critchlow Estate Agents was started in Stoke-on-trent by Martin Critchlow in July 2020.

In its first year of trading, the company sold just under 200 houses in Staffordshire and, less than 12 months later, a further 425 homes have been sold in the same area.

Now, Critchlow Estate Agents has welcomed two new members to the team as it looks to expand its sales and letting services into Cheshire.

Joining company founder Martin and sales manager Lee Dono are Alison Proudfoot, who has joined the business as lettings manager, and Lauren Whitehouse who has been appointed as administrator and credit control.

Martin said: “The last couple of years have been a bit of a whirlwind and I am really happy to be working with a great team.

“All of us have a wealth of experience in the industry – spanning more than 45 years between us. Following Lee’s appointment in 2021, we were able to plan ahead for our next stage of the business, which was to develop the lettings side.”

Martin added: “We all have great knowledge of Staffordshire and Cheshire and Alison is very experienced with lettings – and introducing Lauren to the team is another big help for everything we are doing.”

Alison said: “Critchlow Estate Agents just keep going from strength to strength and have done amazing in their first two years. I love the whole ethos of the business and the importance of customer relations which is there throughout.

“Critchlow have been providing services throughout the Stoke-ontrent, Newcastle-under-lyme and Stone areas and I am so excited to now be a part of the team as we continue to expand into other regions like Cheshire. Properties have already been sold and let in Shavington, Nantwich, Congleton and Crewe.”
